Life will always present us with difficulties, uncertainties and problems – this has been magnified during Covid 19 when everyone has been people beyond what we would assume to be ‘normal’. This programme provides a deeper level of understanding into building resilience and what each of us can do, at a very practical level, to become more resilient in work and in life. 

Learn how to deliver with impact, how to project your voice, how to make sure your body language demonstrates authority (including delivering to camera in a virtual setting), as well as how to handle nerves and really ‘hold your audience’, giving you the confidence to deliver with impact whatever the situation – face to face or virtual.

This workshop is designed to give you practical techniques and structured approaches together with the confidence and skills to deploy them within your teams. We explore how to deal assertively with resistance and/or pushback during such conversations (whether face to face or virtually) to ensure discussions are productive and lead to the positive outcomes that, ultimately, everyone wants.

We provide an insight into the power and impact that EI has on our self awareness, empathy, ability to manage stress, persistence, impulse control and how we connect with and relate to others. Research has shown that it is our levels of EI (Emotional Intelligence) or EQ (Emotional Quotient) – rather than IQ or traditional ‘intelligence’ – that is the key to success in work, in life and in our relationships.

Negotiation with colleagues and external stakeholders can be a positive and informative experience leading both parties to greater understanding of each other’s needs, however it can, at its worst, be a frustrating and unnecessarily confrontational experience. This workshop will demystify the process of influencing and negotiating and provide powerful tools to help your people achieve both.
